The CSP provides financial assistance for funerals of individuals of Anindilyakwa descent and for individuals of non-Anindilyakwa descent who have a confirmed close relationship or ceremonial ties with Anindilyakwa Traditional Owners.

The financial assistance includes:

• Food vouchers for the family of the deceased.
• Ceremony related charters.
• Payment of services for the Deacon/Deaconess performing the funeral provided that the Deacon/Deaconess is of Anindilyakwa descent and resides on the Groote Archipelago.
• Same-day return charters from the Groote Archipelago for repatriation of a body for a funeral.
