The Anindilyakwa Land Council (ALC) Community Support Program (CSP) is an initiative of the ALC Board. The program was developed with the Board’s vision that the CSP would assume responsibility for social and community support activities that would most benefit community.
The Community Support Program ensures the delivery of those services and support deemed essential to Anindilyakwa Traditional Owners (TOs) eligible to benefit from the program in accordance with the rules and guidelines developed by the ALC Board.
The ALC Community Support Program commenced operation in May 2018. Under the directive of the ALC Board, two community-based offices in Angurugu and Umbakumba provide a convenient and efficient service to address the everyday needs of community, supporting the Board’s objectives and vision to further improve the program and it’s delivery in the best interest of our TOs.
The Community Support Program endeavours to provide a ‘one stop shop’, grouping a variety of services within the program to be accessible at the community-based office locations in Angurugu and Umbakumba for the convenience of TOs and the extended community.
Electricity, Aged Care, Education, Cultural Activities, Medical Assistance, Funerals, Animal Management, Safety, Youth, LLN and Life Skill Training, Royalty Cards and Deductions are among the many activities covered under our program.
