Alcohol may only be consumed in Alyangula, either upon licensed premises or with a liquor permit-holder, in their place of residence.

To supply, consume or be caught in possession of drugs, without a prescription, is illegal throughout Australia. On Groote Eylandt, NT Law Enforcement Officers ensure that strict penalties apply. Do not risk it, not only are you disrespecting the Anindilyakwa people, you will be caught.
