On Thursday 1 July, South 32 provided 100 COVID vaccinations to be distributed to community members by the Angurugu Clinic. The ALC and SeaLink organised free bus services to transport community members from Umbakumba and Angurugu to the Clinic to receive their vaccinations, and a free BBQ was provided to all community members who were vaccinated. This vaccination roll out was a huge success, with all vaccinations provided by South 32 distributed in just 6 hours!

It was impressive to see the community members taking such a proactive approach to this round of vaccinations, and the ALC would like to thank all Service Providers who assisted in the successful roll out on Thursday.

The next round of vaccinations will be from 19 – 22 July and will include vaccinations for those who have not yet received their first vaccination, as well as 2nd round vaccinations for those who are eligible.
