To ensure the best possible legal protection for the Anindilyakwa people and to safeguard their intellectual property, the ALC will generally assume copyright over any design, text, graphics, logos, icons, sound recordings, photography and film generated with the aim of commercial production or research publication. Apart from any use as may be permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), none of these things may be reproduced without the prior written consent of the ALC.
This legal protection also extends to bush tucker, bush medicines and local biopharmaceuticals, accessed from cultural knowledge.
We simply ask that you Respect the traditional knowledge, wisdom and wishes of our Senior People, their ancestors and the generations to come.
