Aged Care/Disability
Qualifying individuals receive support from CSP in the form of food vouchers, mattresses, bedding and linen, air-conditioning units, and short term use of palliative care equipment at no charge.
Animal Management
The Community Support Program supports the East Arnhem Regional Council (EARC) to support animal management care and treatment in community.
Ceremonies
The Community Support Program provides financial assistance to assist with:
- Men’s Ceremonies
- Lifting of Curse
- Smoking Ceremonies
- Women’s Ceremonies
Christmas Vouchers
The CSP provides a Christmas Food Vouchers to each household during the month of December.
Community Goods Distribution
From time to time the ALC Board may determine to distribute royalty-funded furniture and household goods on a one-off basis to all members of community, at no cost to the community. These distributions are made directly through the Royalty Shoppa supply chain.
Dental Care
The Community Support Program in conjunction with South32 provides financial assistance and support for Dental Care in community and Alyangula.
Domestic Violence
The Community Support Program works closely with those external service providers assisting community members in need of support.
Electricity
The CSP provides ongoing and full electrical power subsidy to the household of each individual eligible for financial assistance. In accordance with eligibility requirements for Royalty distributions, this entitlement applies to both individuals residing on-archipelago and to individuals residing off-archipelago due to medial treatment.
Emergencies
The CSP provides financial assistance towards services in support of each individual and the family of that individual suffering from an emergency event in collaboration with polices and emergency services where appropriate.
Funerals
The CSP provides financial assistance for funerals of individuals of Anindilyakwa descent and for individuals of non-Anindilyakwa descent who have a confirmed close relationship or ceremonial ties with Anindilyakwa Traditional Owners.
General Requests
The CSP offices located in Angurugu and Umbakumba operate Monday – Friday and are open to assist community members with accessing available services and answering general requests.
Larrakia Nation Bus Service
The Community Support Program in conjunction with Larrakia Nation, Darwin, have initiated a bus service available to those traditional owners based in Darwin, or travelling to Darwin, travel assistance and support.

Medical Care
The CSP provides financial assistance for medical care to approved individuals.
Religious Activity
The CSP provides financial assistance to the Angurugu Church, Umbakumba Church and Milyakburra Church on the condition that the church spends the amount on church-related purposes that have been approved by the ALC Board. The CSP also provides a vehicle for funeral use.
Royalties
Individuals who meet the criteria at the date of a cash royalty distribution by the ALC (which administers these distributions on behalf of the Anindilyakwa Royalties Aboriginal Corporation under section 27(1A) of the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976 (Cth)) is entitled to receive an equal share of that distribution. The CSP team assists with applications, Indue card distributions and royalty deduction requests.
Safety
Children:
- The CSP provides one baby capsule for each newborn, including installation of the baby capsule, and one car seat for each child younger than eight years old
Boating:
- The CSP provides any required boat safety gear for each boat using the Royalty Shoppa supply chain
Welfare
The Community Support Program provides support and financial assistance in cases on Welfare needs.
Youth
The CSP provides funds to support youth engagement with schools, sports and recreation.
