Health & Safety Business Partner
The Anindilyakwa Land Council (ALC) is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Health & Safety Business Partner to join the ALC Team, for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a unique and varied role where your contributions will make a tangible difference. Responsibilities include but not limited to;
- working collaboratively with department Managers to embed a proactive health and safety culture,
- develop, interpret and implement WHS policies and processes and frameworks in accordance with relevant legislation,
- lead and oversee investigations and case management ensuring procedural fairness is undertaken
- manage end-to-end Comcare claims and act as the main point of contact with Comcare and the Land Council to ensure PCBU obligations are adhered to
- incidents and hazard reporting and conducting risk assessments
- design wellbeing programs and initiatives
- manage WHS projects including change management processes from a risk perspective
- driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice.
Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, you will be responsible for delivering the full remit of health and safety functions for the Land Council.
